About This Tour
Amboseli National Park, its the second most visited park in Kenya after the Masai Mara. It is known for its spectacular herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the highest mountain in Africa, just across the border in Tanzania.
Large herds of tusked elephants roam the plains in the morning and evening, you will also see hippo, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hyena the occasional lion and wild dog.
During the heavy rains, the basin at the centre of Amboseli floods, luring throngs of wildlife and providing ample opportunity for eager shutterbugs. Amboseli was declared a UNESCO Mab Biosphere Reserve in 1991, helping ensure the conservation of biodiversity within the park and the involvement of the local population.
Here are the Amboseli Safari rates for non-residents based on the hotel.

One of the advantages of Amboseli is that the terrain is open with thin foliage. This makes the game spotting easier.
